JapaneseReading is provided for personal study. You are welcome to read the articles, use them in your own learning, and quote short passages with attribution. Reproducing whole articles, or bulk-copying the site’s content or data, is not permitted.
Accounts
An account is optional and exists only to save your vocabulary and grammar. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Accounts that are used to attack, overload or abuse the service may be suspended.
Who owns what
The Japanese articles, translations, explanations, exercises and questions are written for this site and belong to JapaneseReading. Third-party dictionary data and the morphological analyser are used under their own licenses, which are set out on the attribution page.
Accuracy
The material is checked before publication, by machine where that is possible and by a person where it is not. It is still study material written by people, and it can be wrong. Nothing here is a guaranteed JLPT result, a certification, or professional advice. If you find a mistake, please report it.
Availability and changes
The site is offered as it is, without a guarantee of uptime. Articles may be revised or withdrawn, and features may change. These terms may be updated; continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
